When Brett Patterson, 28, suffered a stroke last year, he was shocked and confused. How could he, as a healthy young man, go through a condition that he had previously only associated with the elderly? After his five-week hospitalization, Patterson met with Jodi Dodds, MD, who helped him discover a likely origin: a complication of shingles which had been previously misdiagnosed as a rash or poison ivy. Charlotte's WBTV released a news story on Patterson's stroke, rehabilitation, and work with Dodds. Read that here.
