DREAMS seminar to explore neuroimmunology, MS research over dinner on May 30

Researchers in the fields of multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology will discuss their ongoing research over dinner in the final DREAMS seminar of this academic year from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30 in room 2W96 of the Duke Medical Pavilion. If you would like dinner please RSVP to Sarah.Broz@duke.edu by May 24. This event will feature the following topics and speakers:

  • Exploration for novel autoantibodies in autoimmune encephalitis, a pilot study (William Gallentine DO and Heather Van Mater MD)
  • Characterizing 20-OH oxysterol as a moderator of inflammation and mediator of remyelination in MS (Eric Benner MD, Mari Shinohara PhD, and Simon Gregory PhD)
  • Identifying novel determinants of CD4 T cell pathogenesis in MS (Maria Ciofani PhD)
