Liedtke receives $75,000 Chancellor's Discovery Award

Friday, April 21, 2017

Wolfgang Liedtke, MD, PhD, has received a $75,000 Chancellor's Discovery Award from the Duke School of Medicine. These awards provide funding faculty members to pursue new, unfunded lines of investigation. Liedke's project will examine a more realistic modeling of trigeminal nerve injury in the laboratory, and will then precisely control trigeminal sensory circuits in these models, ultimately to develop more rational and effective therapies for trigeminal pain.
