Zafar wins ACNS' Young Investigator Travel Award
The American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS) awarded its Young Investigator Travel Award to Muhammad Zafar, MBBS. Zafar received this award for his poster, “Is 'Queen square' adequate for recording P100?,” which examines techniques for recording visual evoked potentials. Zafar will present this poster along with another poster, "Is EEG needed during intracarotid amytal test?" at the 2017 ACNS national meeting in Phoenix this February. For this second poster, Zafar, along with Rodney Radtke, MD, and Mohamad Mikati, MD, discuss an unusual case where a brain tumor patient experienced seizure duing amybarbital testing.
