I care for various causes of headache or head pain, such as migraine, tension-type headache, and other less common types such as cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia, etc. My goal with our headache patients is to listen and together, with the patient, work to create an appropriate, evidence-based treatment plan that both relieves their pain and improves their quality of life. I have a particular interest in lifestyle tools for prevention and the intersection of women’s health and migraines. Before coming to Duke Health, I practiced in general neurology which included the management of primary and secondary headache disorders. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, fitness, such as running and yoga, and attending NC State sports – Go Pack!
