Morgenlander, Blessing detail APP Residency Program in Neurology Clinical Practice

The latest issue of Neurology: Clinical Practice features an article discussing the Department’s Advanced Practice Providers program, including the challenges, benefits, and lessons learned from the program so far. Written by the program’s co-directors, Joel Morgenlander, MD, and Robert Blessing, ACNP, also outlines the program in detail, from the block schedule for residents to how residents interacted with the program directors and Department faculty. The Duke Neurology Advanced Practice Provider Program is a one-year post-graduate residency for licensed nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA). Read more about the program here.
