ORBIT Hub: Propensity Score Weighting for Causal Subgroup Analysis

Join the ORBIT (Observational Research Building Interdisciplinary Therapeutic Advances) Interdisciplinary Hub for the upcoming seminar, "Propensity Score Weighting for Causal Subgroup Analysis," on May 21 at 1 p.m. Laine Thomas, PhD, will lead this interactive event open to all members of the Duke community. Dr. Thomas will discuss causal inference methods for subgroup analysis in observational studies, including propensity score weighting estimators, overlap weighting, and visualization tools for assessing covariate balance across subgroups. The seminar draws on findings from research applying these methods to the COMPARE-UF registry to evaluate treatment options for uterine fibroids.
