Carissa Smith is a certified Physician Associate on the Stroke Neurology team at Duke University Hospital. After graduating from King's College PA program, she completed a Neuroscience APP Residency Program through Geisinger Medical Center where she was trained in both outpatient and inpatient Neurology and Neurosurgery. Following the residency program, she practiced as an inpatient Neuro-critical Care and Stroke PA prior to working at Duke.
