I am one of the APPs currently working on the Inpatient Stroke Neurology Service. Since my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida State University, I have always had a passion for the brain. Our focus on the Duke Stroke Service goes beyond just diagnosis and medical management for secondary stroke prevention, as we spend a lot of time ensuring our patients receive appropriate therapies for better stroke recovery. As someone who has had a lot of previous personal experience with strokes, our holistic approach is something I am very proud to be a part of. When I am not working on the stroke service, you can find me trying out new local restaurants in the Raleigh/Durham area or traveling to the beach with my dog!
