Memory Disorders; Parkinson's and Movement Disorders; Neuromuscular Disease
As a physician assistant in neurology, I work with patients with neurocognitive disorders, including memory disorders and dementia, as well as movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. I am also part of a team of providers who care for and treat patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at our weekly ALS clinic. Although many of the conditions I see are not curable at this time, it is incredibly rewarding to provide care and treatment that improves mobility, relieves pain, offers comfort and improves quality of life for both patients and their families. I have great compassion and respect for my patients. Their determination and hope in the face of a difficult diagnosis, life-changing disease or condition, inspire and motivate me daily.
