Is there a deadline for registration?

Yes! Registrations must be received by March 1, 2025

Will there be parking available?

Absolutely! The JB Duke Hotel has abundant parking. Costs will be covered for participants.

Does it cost anything to attend?

This event is completely free thanks to our generous sponsors!
I don't know what I want to do for a career, is it okay if I still come?

100%. This event is for anyone even remotely interested in neuroscience and considering a career in the field. 

What is the dress code?

While there is no official dress code, we encourage participants to dress professionally. For example, we suggest avoiding leggings, shorts, graphic t-shirts, etc. However, suits are not necessary.

What should I bring?

Please bring at least 2 copies of your curriculum vitae (CV) or resume. 

If I can't be there the entire day, can I still come?

Yes. We understand schedules are busy. We hope that you'll spend as much of the day with us as possible. If your schedule changes and you are no longer able to attend at all, please email Maria.Perrone@duke.edu so another person may be given your spot.

FROM I-40 WEST (Coming from the East - RDU Airport, Raleigh, Wilmington)

• Follow I-40 West to exit 279B, which is Route 147 North (Durham Freeway).
• Continue on 147 North for approx. 11 miles to exit 16B, which is 15/501 South Bypass.
• Follow 15/501 South for approx. 1 mile to exit 107, Duke University West Campus.
• At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd.
• Continue on Cameron Blvd. to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive.
• Turn left at Science Drive.
• Continue on Science Drive for ¼ mile and turn left onto Thomas Center Drive to reach the Entry Plaza of the JB Duke Hotel.

FROM I-40 EAST (Coming from the West - Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem, Asheville)

• Follow I-40 East to exit 270, which is 15/501.
• Turn left onto 15/501 North (towards Durham).
• Continue on 15/501 North for approx. 2 miles and 15/501 Business will split to the left.
• Stay to the right to remain on 15/501 North towards downtown Durham.
• Follow 15/501 North for approx. 2 more miles to exit 107, Duke University West Campus.
• At the bottom of the exit turn right onto Cameron Blvd.
• Continue on Cameron Blvd to the second traffic light, which is Science Drive.
• Turn left at Science Drive.
• Continue on Science Drive for ¼ mile and turn left onto Thomas Center Drive to reach the Entry Plaza of the JB Duke Hotel.

FROM I-85 NORTH (Coming from the South - Greensboro, High Point, Charlotte)

• Follow I-85 North to exit 172, which is Route 147 South (Durham Freeway).
• Continue on 147 South for less than 1 mile to exit 16B, which is 15/501 South Bypass.
• Follow 15/501 South approx. 1 mile to exit 107, Duke University West Campus.
• At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd.
• Continue on Cameron Blvd to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive.
• Turn left at Science Drive.
• Continue on Science Drive for ¼ mile and turn left onto Thomas Center Drive to reach the Entry Plaza of the JB Duke Hotel.

FROM I-85 SOUTH (Coming from the North - Virginia and Points North)

• Follow I-85 South to 15/501 South Bypass (Exit 174A).
• Follow 15/501 South approx. 1½ miles to exit 107, Duke University West Campus.
• At the bottom of the exit turn left onto Cameron Blvd.
• Continue on Cameron Blvd to the 3rd traffic light, which is Science Drive.
• Turn left at Science Drive.
• Continue on Science Drive for ¼ mile and turn left onto Thomas Center Drive to reach the Entry Plaza of the JB Duke Hotel.
